JERUSALEM May 24. 2023 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy authorities on Wednesday demolished a house in Jabal Mukaber in occupied Jerusalem, agricultural facilities, and a tourist villa, east and south of Hebron.
The Palestinian news agency (Wafa) reported that the occupation forces stormed al-Sala'a neighborhood, located between Jabal al-Mukaber neighborhood and the town of Silwan, south of al-Aqsa Mosque and demolished a house belonging to Obeidat family, under the pretext of building without a permit.
The agency indicated that the house housed five people, according to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the Israeli occupation forces demolished and seized 42 buildings in Jerusalem and Area C in the occupied West Bank during the past two weeks under the pretext of not being licensed.
OCHA added that the demolitions resulted in the displacement of 50 Palestinians, including 23 children and damaged the livelihoods of more than 600 others.
The agency added that the occupation forces stormed Khallat al-Aida area, east of Hebron, and demolished and razed an agricultural greenhouse, "a plastic house", for citizen Kazem al-Rajabi, with an area of about a dunum, and destroyed the agricultural crops inside, and also demolished an agricultural room and retaining walls of citizen Maher al-Ajlouni.
Citizen Bahaa Hisham Abu Allan said that the occupation forces stormed the village of Annab al-Kabeer in the town of al-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron, and their heavy machinery demolished a 220-square-meter villa, inside which was a 90-square-meter swimming pool, stone chains, and forest trees owned by him and citizen Omair Marwan al-Tal.
