SANA'A April 27. 2023 (Saba) - The head of the Shura Council, Muhammad Hussein al-Aidarous, met with the delegation of the Abyan, Shabwa and al-Bayda tribes, who are visiting the capital, Sana'a, in an effort to release the prisoner Faisal Rajab.
During the meeting, which was attended by a number of members of the Council from the southern and eastern governorates and the Secretary General of the Council, Ali Abdul-Mughni, the Speaker of the Shura Council praised the honorable patriotic positions of the people of Abyan, Shabwa and Al-Bayda in their confrontation with the British occupation forces and their struggle in defending the Yemeni revolution of September 26, October 14 and September 21 and their role in Achieving independence in 1967 AD.
"To this day, the free people of the southern and eastern governorates are still following the path of their ancestors in fighting injustice and tyranny and rejecting all forms of old and new colonialism," Al-Aidarous said.
He welcomed the visiting delegation to the capital of the Republic of Yemen, Sana'a, the capital of all Yemenis, conveying to them the greetings and congratulations of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
The head of the Shura Council said that the leadership in Sana'a would understand the humanitarian demands related to the release of prisoner Faisal Rajab Sima, whose name was not included by the mercenaries in the lists of prisoners released in the Ramadan deal.
