GAZA March 30. 2023 (Saba) - Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) leader Ismail Radwan affirmed on Thursday that the right of return is sacred whether individually and collectively and does not fall under the statute of limitations or occupation measures, adding there is no place for the occupation on the land of Palestine.
The Palestine Today news agency quoted Radwan as saying "On the 47th anniversary of Land Day, we have mercy on the souls of the martyrs of the Land Day of our people in the 48th and all the martyrs who died defending the land and rejecting the Zionist occupation settlement policy and affirming the Palestinian identity."
He saluted the 48 Palestinian people who adhere to their land and national identity and reject Zionist fascist racism.
Radwan stressed that Land Day is a national occasion to emphasize the unity of the land, the people, the resistance, and adherence to national constants, "with Jerusalem / al-Quds which is in the heart as the eternal capital of Palestine."
He called for gathering to al-Aqsa Mosque and intensifying i'tikaf (seclusion at mosque) and staying therein in order to thwart the Zionist plans.
Radwan reaffirmed that national unity is a legitimate obligation and a national necessity to confront the Zionist enemy.
He also called for an escalation of confrontation with the Zionist enemy, stressing that resistance will remain the shortest and best way to liberate the land and the Islamic sanctities.
