Occupied al-Quds March 26. 2023 (Saba) - Head of the Supreme Islamic Authority in occupied Jerusalem Sheikh Ikrima Sabri confirmed on Sunday that the Zionist occupation is trying to empty al-Aqsa Mosque of worshippers to enable the settlers to seize it.
Sheikh Sabri stressed, in a statement to al-Aqsa TV, that "the settlers do not dare to storm al-Aqsa Mosque, except with the protection of the Zionist enemy forces," noting that this "demonstrates that the Zionist government bears responsibility."
He explained that the enemy aims at the temporal and spatial division of al-Aqsa Mosque.
Sabri pointed out that the Zionist enemy did not reach what it plans towards al-Aqsa Mosque, thinking the steadfastness of worshippers in al-Aqsa.
He stated that "what the Zionist enemy is trying to achieve in al-Aqsa Mosque will not happen, God willing."
About 100,000 worshipers performed the first Friday of the month of Ramadan at al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the restrictions imposed by the enemy on the arrival of worshipers from the occupied West Bank.
