SANA'A March 25. 2023 (Saba) - The Ministry of Defense and the Presidency of the General Staff organized on Saturday a speech event on the anniversary of the National Day of Resilience in the Face of Aggression, under the slogan "We are coming in the ninth year."

At the event, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan indicated that the Ministry of Defense's revival of the National Resilience Day includes sending several messages.

He said that the first message: To the revolution leader, that the military institution will remain true to its covenant and promise to implement the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council with all its capabilities and energies on land, sea, and air, and in theaters of operations that the enemy does not expect or imagine.

He added, "The second message is to our Yemeni people, which is that the military institution will remain the safety valve for the homeland and the people, and will not back down from achieving its goals in every inch of Yemeni territory.

He continued, "The third message to the countries of aggression is that the armed forces and security are preparing to enter the ninth year with greater faith, more advanced capabilities, and capabilities that cover all possible scenarios and a bank of broader and more comprehensive goals."

Lieutenant General Al-Ruwaishan considered this letter as a warning to the countries of aggression that what they did not obtain during the past eight years is impossible for them to obtain during another eight years.

He pointed out, "The fourth message to the international community is that the Yemeni people have grown up and, while extending their hand for a just and honorable peace, will not give up their right to freedom, sovereignty and independence, and will not allow interference in their internal affairs, nor any force on earth to rob them of their legitimate and just rights."

At the event, the Assistant Minister of Defense for Human Resources Affairs, Major General Ali Al-Kuhlani, indicated that the Yemeni people and the armed forces today, after eight years of steadfastness, confirm their continuation in protecting sovereignty and preserving national capabilities from oil wealth.

He said: "We will proceed under the leadership of Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi towards victory, glory, and an active and influential presence regionally and internationally and on various tracks and levels."

He added, "We are with a just and honorable peace that guarantees an end to aggression, lifting the siege, and the exit of the occupiers and invaders from our entire land. It is not in the interest of the countries of aggression to procrastinate and manipulate. Patience has limits, and we are ready to deal with all variables with open options and a broad bank of goals."

In turn, the Director of the Moral Guidance Department, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, explained, "Today, thanks to God, we are closing the eighth year and entering the ninth year of steadfastness, sacrifice, pride and dignity, after the aggressor thought that he would resolve the battle within one week."

He said, "Saudi, British and American planes were bombing Sana'a and all Yemeni provinces. Today, after eight years, our planes and missiles are bombing military headquarters, sites and bases in the capitals of the countries of aggression, thanks to God and our wise, inspiring and courageous revolutionary leadership represented by Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi."
