HAJJAH March 14. 2023 (Saba)- A technical team from the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Finance and the Initiatives Department in Hajjah province reviewed on Tuesday the progress of paving a road in Shares district, at a cost of 68 million riyals, with a community initiative.
They pointed out that the next stage will witness the expansion and construction of retaining walls in some parts of the road.
The length of the road that connects the villages of Al-Khashbi - Beit Daqin - Beit Farhat and the neighboring villages in the isolation of Shares Al-Ala is 2.2 km.
The initiatives' director in the province, Hassan Hazazi, and the engineer of the Central Interventions Unit, Suhaib Al-Saadani, listened to an explanation from the coordinator of the Isolation of Shares Al-Ala initiatives, Yahya Daaqin, and the engineer of the engineering unit in the district, Yasser Ajaj, about the percentage of completion in the road, which amounted to 95 percent, and its importance in facilitating the access of services to the people of those remote areas.
Hazazi and Al-Saadani affirmed the keenness of province leadership and the Finance Ministry to support initiatives to encourage the community to contribute to the process of construction, development and to enhance the factors of steadfastness.
They pointed out that the next stage will witness the expansion and construction of retaining walls in some parts of the road.
