SANA'A February 09. 2023 (Saba) – His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, sent a telegram of condolence and sympathy on the death of the scholar Zaid Ali Amer.
The scholar Zaid Ali Amer was a member of the Association of Yemeni Scholars, who passed away today after a life full of work in the niche of Islamic sciences and permanent giving in the service of the country.
He referred to the role of Allamah Amer and his outstanding contributions in educating generations, confronting misconceptions, as well as his social role, his standing with the truth and his rejection of all forms of injustice.

President Al-Mashat praised, in the telegram that he sent to two sons of the deceased, Nasr al-Din Amer, Head of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni news agency "Saba", and Ibrahim Amer, deputy governor of Hajjah province, and all their brothers, and all the Amer family, for the deceased's national stances in the face of the American-Saudi aggression on Yemen in word and deed and his siding with the issues of the homeland and the steadfastness of his honest and courageous stance.

President Al-Mashat expressed his sincere condolences and great sympathy to the sons and family of the deceased and all of Amer's family for this affliction, asking the Lord Almighty to shower him with the abundance of mercy and forgiveness, dwell him in his spacious gardens, and inspire his family and relatives' patience and solace.
