SANA'A February 04. 2023 (Saba) -The Supreme Committee for Boycotting Products of Countries Violating Islamic Sanctities held a meeting today, Saturday, chaired by the Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, and with the participation of representatives of the private sector.
And morality in confronting these violations, which affected our Islamic symbols, through the various means available to our Yemeni people, who were and will remain at the forefront of the advocates of religion and the defense of its sanctities.

The meeting included the Deputy Prime Ministers for Security, Defense Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, Services Development Dr. Hussein Maqbouli, National Vision Mahmoud Al-Junaid, each of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Hisham Sharaf, Information Minister, Dhaif Allah Al-Shami, Agriculture & Irrigation, Engineer Abdul-Malik Al-Thawr, and Guidance and Hajj,and Umrah Najeeb Al-Ajji, Human Rights Ali Al-Dailami, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Muhammad Al-Kibsi, Director of the Prime Minister’s Office Taha Al-Sufyani, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ahmed Al-Shutari, and the President of the Supreme Authority for Medicines, Ali Abbas, in addition to the President of the Chamber of Commerce in the Capital Sana’a Hassan Al-Kbous, and a number of Chamber members and representatives of the commercial sectors.
The meeting was devoted to discuss aspects of joint work between the concerned government agencies and the private sector working in the field of import to implement the Cabinet’s decision regarding boycotting the products and goods of America, Israel, Sweden, the Netherlands and Denmark, for their violation of Islamic sanctities, the latest of which was the burning of copies of the Holy Qur’an in Sweden, based on religious responsibility.
And morality in confronting these violations, which affected our Islamic symbols, through the various means available to our Yemeni people, who were and will remain at the forefront of the advocates of religion and the defense of its sanctities.
The participants views from the private sector were heard regarding the implementation of the decision in a way that achieves its religious, national and social goals.
The meeting discussed a number of issues related to the activity of the private sector, especially the commercial one, and the importance of working to address them in order to consolidate its vital role during this exceptional period and the coming one.
