SA'ADA February 02. 2023 (Saba) - 13 locomotives carrying quantities of cement arrived in Sa'ada province on Thursday to support the community initiatives programme in the province by supporting the central intervention unit emergency development in the Ministry of Finance.
The Director-General of the Emergency Central Development Interventions Unit of the Ministry of Finance, Engineer Shahab Ahmed Al-Shami, explained that he continued to support the Community Initiatives Program in Sa'ada province, financed by the unit, arrived 13 a locomotive today for the governorate carrying 10,000 bags of urban cement.
He noted that support for the Community Initiatives Program comes under the guidance of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed. Abdulmalik Badruddin Al-Houthi, and a translation of the directions of President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat and Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Minister of Finance, Dr. Rashid Abu Luhoom in this regard.
Support for community initiatives included contributing to the provision of cement to people to implement and complete paving work as well as the provision of diesel material for equipment to carry out surveys, construction and expansion of roads, as well as the provision of some of the construction equipment in the most disadvantaged areas.
Al-Shami stated that the implementation of agricultural projects comes within the framework of community initiatives as an ideal option and a right direction for the promotion of the agricultural sector strengthening its role in food security.
The continuation of the Community Initiatives Programme was part of the Unit's approach to intervening and contributing to community initiatives in disadvantaged areas.
The Director-General of the Emergency Central Interventions Unit of the Ministry of Finance stated that the quantities of cement would be distributed to projects of initiatives from paving roads and dam barriers in Hidan, Bani Bahr, Saqyn, Majz, Razeh, Al-Safra and Harf Sufian to complement the implementation of the initiatives' projects.
