NABLUS January 29. 2023 (Saba) - A Palestinian official warned on Sunday of the escalation of settler attacks on citizens in the occupied West Bank against the backdrop of Zionist attacks in Nablus.
The Ma'an News Agency quoted Ghassan Douglas who is in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank in press statements as saying " on Saturday, settlers committed 144 attacks south of Nablus" in the West Bank.
Douglas added "The settlers destroyed 120 vehicles by throwing stones at them on the roads south of Nablus and burned six vehicles in the town of Majdal Bani Fadel and attacked 22 shops in Hawara."
He stated that the attacks were concentrated in the towns and villages of Hawara, Madama Gate, Qusra, Jureesh, and Majdal Bani Fadel.
Douglas pointed out that there are indications of an increase in the frequency of Zionist attacks and the carrying out of terrorist acts against Palestinian citizens and their property.
