SANA'A January 10.2023 (Saba) - Two children from one family were killed on Tuesday in Sana'a province by an explosion of a landmine planted by the aggression forces.
The landmine explosion took place in Eyal Mohamad's area in Nihm district causing the death of Abdullah Mohsen Rashid Qaraa and his brother Imad, while their brother Ghazi was seriously injured, the Yemen Executive Mine Action Centre (YEMAC) said in a statement to Saba.
Since the beginning of 2023, the Centre has recorded 3 deaths and 3 Injuries, including children, in a number of provinces by aggression remnant explosives.
YEMAC stated that the lack of the landmine detectors and other necessary equipment hinders the Center's activities to cleanse the landmines, a matter that may increase the number of the civilian casualties.
