[06/ January/2023]

SANA'A January 06. 2023 (Saba) - The capital Sana'a witnessed on Friday a major mass rally entitled "The Siege is War" to denounce the continuation of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression and blockade against the Yemeni people.

The mass crowds chanted slogans affirming the rejection of the blockade, the procrastination of the aggression coalition in disbursing the salaries of the state employees, and ending the suffering of the Yemeni people.

They marched on a number of streets, raised banners expressing the Yemeni people's refusal to the aggression's crimes and siege.

They denounced the practices of the aggression coalition by tightening the blockade, establishing military bases in the occupied provinces and continuing to detain fuel ships, plunder the country's wealthes and resources.

The mass crowds reaffirmed strengthening the national steadfastness, cohesion, and awareness of preserving the unity of the internal front, confronting the plots of the aggression forces and their tools, and thwarting their attempts to destabilize security and stability.

At the end of the rally, advisor to the President of the Supreme Political Council Muhammad Muftah read a statement, warning the aggression coalition of the consequences of any military escalation and of the continuation of the blockade on Yemen.

He stressed the need to lift the blockade imposing on Sana'a International Airport and Hodeida port without restrictions and to pay the employees' salaries from the revenues of oil and gas wealthes.

The statement announced that the Yemeni people supports the leadership to take what is necessary to deter the aggression and to lift the blockade, calling the armed forces to be at a high level of readiness and vigilance.

The statement stressed that the suspicious deals made by the aggression's mercenaries are null and void, and are not recognized by the Yemeni people, including the deal to sell Qishn port and the oil block of Al-Uqla.

It called on all the Yemeni people to preserve the cohesion of the internal front and to beware of the enemy's plans to stir up problems and destabilize popular cohesion and steadfastness.
