MOSCOW DECEMBER 06.2022 (Saba) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov confirmed on Tuesday that any NATO expansion would be offset by a "compensatory reply from Moscow", and that and that "every action has a reaction".
Ryabkov was quoted by Novosti as saying: "Accordingly, the sharp deterioration in the security situation in recent years is no longer possible acceptable without concrete action on our part..The additional expansion of NATO will face an appropriate response from Russia.
He added: "Do the countries that are striving to join NATO need this accession, what they need for it and the Russian response."
