LONDON DECEMBER 04.2022 (Saba) - The Morning Star newspaper revealed that anti-arms trade activists were staging a protest against the British government's complicity in the ongoing aggression on Yemen, where Britain fuels war through arms deals to the Saudi-led aggression coalition against Yemen.

The newspaper reported last night that protests were scheduled to take place in more than 12 towns and cities across the country to demand the British government to end its complicity in the war on Yemen.

The people joining the National Day of Action on Saturday, organized by Campaign Against the Arms Trade "CAAT", hoped to raise awareness of arms companies in their local areas fuelling the war on Yemen.

Amber Rose Dewey of KAT organization said that people are taking to the streets to highlight what is often unspoken and unknown, and that war starts on our doorstep.

Arms companies fuelling the war on Yemen are in our communities, and the UK government is making billions in sales of arms despite the devastating human cost in Yemen, Amber also said.

The newspaper confirmed that the British government has sold at least £23 billion of weapons to Saudi Arabia since the Gulf state launched its devastating air campaign on its neighbour Yemen eight years ago.

The British newspaper concluded: "The conflict has killed hundreds of thousands of people and caused one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world.
