Mahrah governor: November 30 is a pivotal day in history of Yemen
[30/ November/2022]

SANA'A November 30. 2022 (Saba) - Mahrah governor al-Qa'atabi al-Farji on Wednesday affirmed that the glorious November 30 will remain a pivotal day in the history of Yemen, which is full of struggle and sacrifice against the invaders and occupiers.

In a statement to Saba, governor al-Farji said that the celebration of the 55th independence day, November 30, affirms the values of redemption and sacrifice for a free and independent homeland in which the Yemeni people enjoy freedom, sovereignty and independence.

He pointed out the importance of this occasion to enhance the glow of the bright struggle, which embodied the most eloquent national message drawn by the heroes and free men of Yemen in defeating and ending the British occupation of the south of the homeland on November 30, 1967.

Governor al-Farji considered the 30th of November an eternal memory that must be entrenched in the hearts and consciences of the Yemeni generations and acquaint them with the journey of their fathers' struggle and sacrifices for the sake of freedom, dignity, independence and sovereignty.

He indicated that the generation of unity is ignorant of this great occasion that culminated in the expulsion of the British occupation from the south of the homeland.

He pointed to the importance of drawing inspiration from the memory of November 30, 1967, in continuing the struggle to confront the occupiers and the new invaders.

The governor said "It is like yesterday, an occupation again with multiple faces and occupying powers through its agents of mercenaries, agents and traitors."

He renewed the call for the Yemeni people in the southern provinces to gain the honor of freedom and dignity and to defend the homeland and its sovereignty by strengthening cohesion and alignment to expel the aggression forces and the US-Saudi-Emirati occupation from the occupied Yemeni lands.
