President: November 30 is glorious day for Yemeni people
[29/ November/2022]

SANA'A November 29. 2022 (Saba) - President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Tuesday affirmed that the Independence Day, November 30, is a glorious and immortal day for the Yemeni people and also a bitter day for the mercenaries and those involved in treason against Yemen.

"This day distinguishes between the Free Patriotic who stood with his country and his people and the traitor mercenaries who sold his country cheaply and got involved with the American and British occupiers and put himself on the pages of shame," al-Mashat said in a speech delivered on the occasion of the fifty-fifth anniversary of the Independence Day, Nov. 30.

The President extended his congratulations to the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, members of the Supreme Political Council, the National Salvation Government, all scholars, sheikhs, notables, and the Yemeni people on this occasion.

He added, "The lesson of the 30th of November is no longer a lesson in history, here, it is the same colonizer of yesterday and with broader and uglier alliances who came as an invader in the hope of restoring its glories to colonize this country, and the difference is that it manages the worst of its deeds by using the gloves of puppet and treacherous Arab regimes, and in collusion with the dirtiest mercenaries known to mankind"

President al-Mashat explained that "this glorious fifty-fifth anniversary of the National Independence Day, November 30, comes this year in conjunction with the anniversary of the martyr, in which we remember the greatness of the righteous martyrs who made the Independence day on Nov. 30.

The President expressed regret that this occasion comes at a time when the American occupiers move between the occupied provinces and manage them accompanied by their soldiers, in a recurring scene that has not been lost on the memory of the Yemeni man since the old British colonialism. Not only that, but the occupier today is so arrogant and brazen that it is allowed to interfere in the affairs of the country in every council and forum, condemning in a cynical way that the real owners of the country prevented them from plundering thier wealth.

He pointed out that the occupier believes that the Yemeni people's defense of their capabilities against looting is a wrong measure in the sense of insolence that the occupier did not dare before him, and that as much as it is unfortunate, at the same time it increases the determination of the Yemeni people to move forward on the path of liberation and independence and to re-expel the new colonizer so that Yemen can achieve its freedom, independence and sovereignty over all its lands.

President al-Mashat reaffirmed the firm position to protect the capabilities of the people and prevent the plundering of their oil and gas wealth, as it is the correct constitutional behavior and the logical and legitimate behavior, just as this right does not mean any threat to international navigation as the trumpets of aggression claim, so whoever threatens international navigation is the one who continues its aggression and blockade and plunder the wealth of the yemeni people.

He again denounced the relentless efforts to plunder Yemen's wealth and deprive people of their natural dues, foremost of which is the payment of salaries of all Yemeni state employees from oil revenues, which is considered non-negotiable.

President al-Mashat also denounced the efforts of the countries of aggression, led by America, in obstructing the payment of salaries to all employees of Yemen and obstructing peace efforts, considering it an act of aggression that will have repercussions on the countries of aggression.

He said, "Our people will not stand by and watch as their wealth is plundered before their eyes." It is suffering the most severe siege imposed on a people in modern and ancient history."

He advised the forces of the American-Saudi aggression to turn to a just and honorable peace, stressing the need to expedite the payment of the salaries of the Yemeni people without procrastination.

President al-Mashat blessed the Palestinian people for their heroic operations in confronting the Zionist occupier. He said, "We are confident that this blazing jihadist renaissance will have an important role in accelerating the demise of the Zionist occupation from the land of Palestine, so that Palestine will embrace Arabism and civilization will grant the desired freedom and complete independence in the near future, with Allah's help."
