SANA'A November 24. 2022 (Saba) - The Governor of Hadramout, Luqman Barras, warned against the consequences of involving the eastern ports in the conflict and turning them into military bases for the forces of invasion and occupation.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Governor Barras confirmed that the calls for the militarization Al-Dhaba port, behind which the Americans and the French stand, constitute a threat to the infrastructure in the province, and may turn it from an oil port into a legitimate military target in event that the port is handed over to American invaders and their French collaborators.
Barras called on all the wise people of province to stop tampering with the capabilities of Hadramout, stressing that the people of the province in the valley, the desert and the coast were the first to demand an end to looting and export oil wealth from Masila oil facility, which has been subjected to the worst depletion over the past years without benefiting the people of the province who live in it. Difficult economic and humanitarian conditions.
He renewed support for the second strike, which thwarted the second attempt to loot 2 million barrels of crude oil, blaming the occupation authorities in the province for any risks to oil port.
Barras stressed that the port with all its facilities and the working crew did not suffer any damage during the 2 operations, which thwarted sinful attempts to smuggle crude oil.
He called on the port authorities to comply with Sana'a's decision to stop smuggling crude oil and not to receive any looting ships in order to avoid any risks.
Barras pointed out that the efforts to hand over al-Dhaba port to the American forces by the government of labor and mercenaries establishes the survival of the occupation on the coasts of the province, and is considered a neglect of national sovereignty and settlement of the occupation in Hadramout province, which is rejected by all free people of the province.
