HODEIDA October 2.2022 (Saba) - Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Finance Rashid Abu Luhum and Hodeida Governor Mohammed Qahim on Sunday inaugurated the first phase of a solar energy system project to pump water from the wells to the houses of the province's citizens.
At the inauguration, Abu Luhum indicated that the operation of the first phase of the project aims to pump water from four wells in al-Bayda area to the homes of citizens in Hodeida,
He stressed that the project is came to reduce the consumption bill by building sustainable projects with regard to employment through the use of alternative energy.
The Deputy Prime Minister considered the inauguration of the project of the first work came also to implement additional projects to operate all of the Corporation's wells through alternative energy during the coming period, stressing that the project coincides with the celebration of the Prophet's birthday and the September 21 revolution.
