HODEIDA October 2.2022 (Saba) - Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and governor of Hodeida Mohammed Qahim on Sunday inaugurated the first and second phases of the project to operate a hybrid solar energy system for al-Thawra General Hospital Authority with a capacity of 400 kilowatt.
The total cost of the two phases amounted to 188.6 million Y.R, financed by Hodeida Support and Development Fund.
In the inauguration, Abu Luhum explained that the inauguration of the project came in coinciding with the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday and came within the framework of the interest of the Leader of the Revolution and the President of the Supreme Political Council, in activating the activity of Hodeida Support and Development Fund and directing all its activities to alleviate the suffering of the citizens.
He pointed out that providing the hospital authority with solar energy came within the framework of ensuring its needs of electricity and reducing the expenses of consuming fuel, oil and spare parts for the generators in light of the power outage as a result of the aggression and the siege.
