Judge Humran's murderer sentenced to death, imprisonment for 5 others convicted in crime of his kidnapping

SANA'A, Sept. 27 (Saba) - The Specialized Criminal Court of First Instance in the Capital Secretariat, in its session Tuesday, convicted six of the defendants in the case of the kidnapping and murder of Judge Mohamed Ahmed Humran.

The verdict, in the session held under the chairmanship of the head of the court, Judge Yahya Abdelkarim Al-Mansour, and in the presence of the Public Prosecutor, Judge Sarem Al-Din Mofadhal, convicted the first accused, Salah Mosaed Ahmed Al-Hamami, in the crime of premeditated murder and punished him with the death penalty by firing with bullets to death.

The verdict also approved the conviction of each of Abdullah Naji Al-Maidma, Younis Saif Aoun Allah, and Muhammad Ahmed Barman, along with the first convict, in the crime of kidnapping, and each of them was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

The court's verdict also ruled that Qais Ali Al-Sinidar was convicted of the crime of providing assistance and concealing the things obtained from the crime of kidnapping, and sentenced him to eight years in prison, as well as the conviction of Reem Abdelmajid Al-Hamami of the crime of providing assistance and punished her with eight years in prison.

The court acquitted each of Hoda Abdulnasser Al-Jahmi and Muhammad Abdulkhaleq Al-Hamami of the charges against them, and decided the confiscation of weapons, cars and telephones related to the crime.
