YPC: Aggression coalition seizes 3 fuel ships

SANA'A, Aug. 25 (Saba) – The Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) reported on Thursday that the US-led aggression coalition has detained 2 diesel ships, and a Mazut ship, despite being cleared by the United Nations.

The company's official spokesman Issam Al-Mutawakil, explained to Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the US-led aggression coalition seized diesel ship "Sands" and the Mazut ship "Fos Power".

"Instead of adhering to the temporary truce and releasing the diesel ship belonging to the electricity sector, the US-led aggression coalition detained the diesel ship "Sands" and the Mazut ship "Fos Power", despite their being searched and granted UN permits."

The number of oil derivatives ships currently detained is 3, al-Mutawakel said.
