SANA'A, Aug.14 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council, met on Sunday with the Higher Committee for Preservation of Historic Cities, headed by Director of the Presidential Office Ahmed Hamid and Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Finance Minister Dr. Rashid Abboud Abu Lahoum.
During the meeting, they discussed what the old Sana'a city is exposed to as a result of the torrential rains, ways to develop and modernize work mechanisms in authorities concerned with preserving historical cities.
President Al-Mashat called on all concerned parties to cooperate in implementing the law to preserve historic cities.
