PROVINCES, July 02 (Saba) - The forces of aggression and their mercenaries committed 171 violations of the humanitarian and military truce during the past 24 hours, a military official said on Saturday.
The official added the aggression's violations included 2 airstrikes on the citizens' houses and the sites of the army and popular committees in al-Barah area in Taiz and in Rawdat Jahm in Marib.
The violations also included 5 flights of Apache warplanes in the airspace of Beka'a, Shabakah, Sharqiah, Al-Suh and al-Fara' areas in Najran region and 52 flights of armed and spying reconnaissance aircrafts over the airspace of the provinces of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Jawf, Sa'ada, Dhalea, Hodeidah and Bayda provinces, and the border fronts.
The mercenaries of the aggression committed 6 violations with creating combat fortifications in Jizan and Najran regions, in the vicinity of Marib city, in al-Dhabab area in Taiz and in the east of Hays district in Hodeida.
Moreover, the mercenaries carried out an offensive operation on the sites of the army and popular committees in the eastern al-Balaq in Marib province.
The official said that 88 violations were monitored by shooting at the citizens' houses and the army and popular committees' sites in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Sa'ada, Dhalea and Hodeida provinces and the border fronts.
He added that 17 violations were recorded with artillery shelling by the mercenaries on the provinces of Marib, Hajjah, Sa'ada and Hodeida and on Najran and Jizan regions.
