HODEIDA, Jun. 30 (Saba) - A meeting in Bajil District in Hodeida province has discussed the mechanism of activating the activities of agricultural cooperative societies and enhancing their role in starting the reclamation and cultivation of lands in the various areas of the district.
The meeting, which included the head of the committee for the activation of associations and the cultivation of the desert in the province, Abdullah al-Marwni, stressed the importance of reclamation of agricultural land and benefiting from it in achieving self-sufficiency in crops and grains.
It stressed the importance of activating the agricultural cooperative in the district to contribute to the success of the agricultural revolution and to identify imbalances in the level of agricultural production as well as to address them according to a correct mechanism that advances the production process and advances it towards providing food security.
