Tehran supports continuing armistice in Yemen and must end blockade: Abdollahian

TEHRAN, Jun. 28 (Saba) - Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian confirmed his country's support for the continuation of the armistice in Yemen and the need to end the blockade imposed on the Yemeni people.

According to Abdollahian's statement at his meeting Monday night, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi is currently visiting Tehran. According to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

Abdollahian said Iran believed that the way to solve the region's problems was from within the region itself.

The Islamic Republic wants only good for the region. Commending Iraq's efforts to strengthen the element of dialogue in the region, and valuing its constructive role in regional equations.
