SANA'A, June.15 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Amal-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, met on Wednesday poet and writer Abbas Al-Dailami.
During the meeting, al-Mashat and al-Dailami reviewed the prominent role of poets in confronting the aggression and public mobilization and the importance of literature and poetry in defining the oppression of the Yemeni people as a result of the aggression and siege.
President al-Mashat noted the importance of the poetic and media experience of the writer Abbas al-Dailami, as one of the most prominent contemporary Arab poets, and among the prominent poets and writers of Yemen who were distinguished by the privacy of dealing with the homeland and identity.
He praised the national role of the poet and writer al-Dailami, and expressed his appreciation for his outstanding positions and efforts in the stages of contemporary Yemeni history.
