Aggression forces commit 168 violations of armistice within 24 hours

PROVINCES, May 29 (Saba) - The aggression forces and their mercenaries committed 168 violations of the humanitarian and military truce during the past 24 hours, a military official said on Sunday.


The official stated that the violations of the aggression included 40 flights of armed and spying reconnaissance aircrafts in the airspace of Marib, Hajjah, Jawf, Dhalea and Bayda provinces, and the fronts beyond the borders.

The aggression's mercenaries established combat fortifications in the vicinity of the city of Marib, west of Haradh in Hajjah province, they carried out an offensive operation on the sites of the army and popular committees in al-Balaq al-Sharqi and al-Akkd in Marib province.

He said 39 violations were recorded by rocket and artillery shelling, as the mercenaries targeted with 3 Katyusha rockets at the army and popular committees' sites in al-Akkd and al-Balaq in Marib province.

The mercenaries also targeted with intensive artillery shells the sites of the army and popular committees in al-Wadi, al-Balaq, al-Akkd and Mala' in Marib province, in al-Kadha and al-Qasr areas in Taiz province, and in Haradh district in Hajjah province.

The mercenaries of the aggression also targeted the sites of the army and popular committees in Qumama Al-Ghaawia, Razeh, Munabeh and Shada in Sa'ada province, injuring two citizens in al-Madhla area of the border district of Shada.

The official stated that the mercenaries of aggression targeted with heavy artillery shells the sites of the army and popular committees in Al-Broukiya, Al-Matan in Jizan, Al-SSawh and Maimana al-Beqa' in Najran.

According to the official, 86 violations were recorded by shooting at the citizens' houses and the sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Jawf, Dhale and Bayda provinces and the border fronts.
