RAYMAH, May 19 (Saba) - A meeting in Raymah province, which included province's first deputy Mohammed al-Haidari and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) - the editor-in-chief, Nasr al-Din Amer, has discussed the level of media performance in the province.
The meeting touched on aspects related to enhancing journalistic and media performance in the face of disinformation campaigns broadcast by the aggression media as well as keeping pace with activities and events in the province.
The meeting touched on the role of the media in conveying the true picture and exposing the crimes and violations of the US-Saudi aggression, as well as shedding light on the suffering of the Yemeni people as a result of the continued aggression and siege.
Al-Haidari stressed the importance of the media professionals’ concerted efforts to develop the media message in line with the requirements of the current stage, expressing the readiness of the local authority’s leadership to overcome the difficulties facing the media in the province.
For his part, Amer touched on the role of the media in strengthening the unity and cohesion and raising awareness of the conspiracies of the aggression and its media war, through which it seeks to target the unity and cohesion of the home front.
He said that the current stage requires concerted efforts, especially the media and press side to keep pace with the events taking place in the national arena.
