PROVINCES, May 17 (Saba) - The forces of aggression and their mercenaries committed 121 violations of the humanitarian and military truce during the past 24 hours, a military official said Tuesday.
The official added the violations of the aggression were represented in seven raids by reconnaissance aircraft on the homes of citizens and the sites of the army and the popular committees in al-Muthalath and al-Noqta in the district of Qataba, al-Zayla and al-Adan areas in the district of Maris in Dhalea province.
He pointed out that the violations of the forces of aggression included 47 flights of armed and spying reconnaissance aircraft in the airspace of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Jawf, Sa'ada and Dhalea provinces.
The official confirmed that the mercenaries of the aggression established combat fortifications around the city of Marib.
He pointed out that 19 violations were recorded with missile and artillery bombardment, as the mercenaries of the aggression targeted with missile strikes the army and committee sites in al-Malahith and al-Malahidh in Sa'ada province.
The mercenaries of the aggression also targeted, with artillery, the sites of the army and committees in Bani Hassan area in Hajjah, province, al-Malahidh and al-Madafen areas in Sa'ada, Banan area in Maris district of Dhalea, and Wadi Jarah and south of al-Amud in Jizan.
The official indicated that 48 violations were recorded by shooting at citizens' homes, the army and popular committees sites in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Sa'ada and Dhalea provinces and the border fronts.
