Human rights call on international community to stop Zionist occupation escalation
[16/ April/2022]

SANA'A, Apr. 16 (SABA) -  The Ministry of Human Rights strongly condemned on Friday the invasion of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by Zionist occupation forces and the attacking and detention of worshippers.

In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the Ministry of Human Rights considered the attacks of the Zionist occupation forces to be an escalating step and violations against the Palestinian people.

The Ministry called for United Nations a position to be taken on the Zionist entity's escalation and aggression against the Palestinian people. Such attacks are a flagrant violation of human rights and the principles that have ensured the protection of civilians and respect for beliefs and religions.

The statement called on international organizations and the Security and Human Rights Councils to stop the escalating steps by which the Zionist entity wants to commit new violations and crimes against Palestinians. Reaffirms the legitimate right of the Palestinian people to establish a state on all Palestinian soil with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

The Ministry of Human Rights also called on the international community to take responsibility for the Zionist occupation forces' aggressive practices in Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque, which were serious violations of human rights laws, treaties, and agreements.
