Damascus, Oct. 16 (Saba) - Minister Plenipotentiary at the Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Syria Radwan Al-Haimi met on Friday with the Minister Plenipotentiary at the Russian Embassy in Damascus, Eldar Kurbanov.
In the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen relations between the Republic of Yemen and the Russian Federation.
Minister Al-Haimi referred to the bilateral relations of cooperation between the two friendly countries, which extend for more than nine decades.
He reviewed the latest developments in the political and humanitarian situation and the US-Saudi aggression and siege on the Yemeni people, and the horrific massacres committed by the coalition against civilians, and the systematic destruction of infrastructure in various regions of Yemen.
Al-Haimi touched on the Yemeni Republic's vision for a comprehensive solution, its keenness on a just and honorable peace, and its refusal to barter for the humanitarian file and the legitimate rights of the Yemeni people.

For his part, the Minister Plenipotentiary at the Russian Embassy in Damascus affirmed that the Russian Federation stands by dialogue and a political solution in Yemen.
