SANA'A, Oct. 15 (Saba) - Governor of Aden, Tarek Salam, confirmed that the October 14th revolution was one of the greatest revolutions of liberation from colonialism.
Governor Salam, in a statement to Saba, pointed out that the commemoration of the 58th anniversary of the Revolution of October 14, 1963 confirms the loyalty of the Yemeni people to the militants and martyrs of October, and their adherence to its objectives.
Salam said the October 14 revolution ended British colonialism and cleansed the land of foreign occupation.
"The South today, as it commemorates the 58th anniversary of the glorious October 14 revolution, is living a new occupation reality led by the forces of global arrogance, America, Israel and Britain with Arab support and administration represented by the UAE and Saudi Arabia," he added.
He pointed out that the liberation's battle in the southern provinces will be led by the free south with the army forces and popular committees.
