SANA'A, July 23 (Saba) - The army and the popular committees seized on Thursday sites off Jabal al-Dud in Jizan region.
Sudanese mercenaries were killed, and others wounded in the operation in whch the army and committees captured tens of them.
The scenes broadcast by some national channels from Sana'a showed the army and committees controlling the Sudanese mercenaries' sites west of the al-Kamp al-Qadem and Menzala and on Abbass hill in the areas of al-Madafin and al-Malahidh opposite Jabal al-Dud.
In the offensive operation, the army and the popular committees managed to control a number of sites, destroy and damage 4 enemy mechanisms, seize various weapons.
In return, the US-Saudi aggression warplanes tried to support their mercenaries with a number of raids to stop the progress of the army and the committees, but to no avail.
