HODEIDA, Jul. 21 (Saba) - Ten impoverished prisoners have been released in Hodeida province, who had served the legal period they were sentenced to and were unable to pay their sums of money.
The local authority and the office of the General Authority for Zakat paid their financial commitments amounting to 16 million Y.R.
Governor Mohammed Qahem stressed the importance of releasing the prisoners and paying their sums of money, which contributes to strengthening social solidarity in the communities.
He said the release process comes in response to the call of the revolution leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi to take care of the prisoners and inspect their conditions.
