SA'ADA, June 21 (Saba) - Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel said on Monday that the United Nations did not even provide the children of Yemen with a suction device or other supplies of operating rooms.
This came during his visit to the Pediatric Department at the Republican Hospital in Saada province, where he inspected the condition of a child with congenital malformations as a result of the Saudi-led aggression coalition's use of internationally-prohibited weapons in bombing the province.
The one-year-old child needs a device to suction fluids from the brain.
In this regard, Dr. Al- Mutawakel held the United Nations responsible for the life of this child and thousands like him.
During the visit, the Health Minister and the Governor of Saada, Mohammad Jaber Awadh, inaugurated a number of health projects
at the hospital.
