SANA'A, June. 15 (Saba) - Al-Mahra Governor Ali Hussein al-Faraji condemned the Saudi occupation of establishment and construction of military buildings and installations near the runway at al Ghaydah airport.
In a statement issued on Tuesday to Saba, Governor al-Qa'atabi denounced the arbitrary practices of the Saudi occupation and its arrests and prosecutions of al-Mahra sons and anti-occupation figures.
He noted the increase in arrests and torture of many residents of the province by occupying militias.
He warned that the Saudi occupation and its tools will continue to carry out its criminal plans, loot wealth, disrupt services and institutions, and worsen the economic and living situation of the sons of the al-Mahra. Considering what the Saudi occupation is doing, it is blatant interference in Yemeni affairs.
Al-Faraji called on the international community and international and humanitarian organizations to condemn the violations and crimes of the Saudi occupation.
He also called on al-Mahra tribes to strengthen cohesion to counter schemes aimed at security, stability, and national sovereignty.
The media circulated aerial photographs that revealed the establishments and military installations carried out by Saudi forces at al Ghaydah International Airport and showed the presence of a number of Saudi Air Force helicopters on the tarmac, and a recent camp nearby.
