[03/ March/2021]

SANA'A, Mar. 03 (Saba) - Prime Minister Abdulaziz bin Habtoor has met with new Resident Representative of the United Nations and the Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen William Gressly.

Bin Habtoor and Gressly reviewed, on Tuesday,  the human tragedy under which the absolute majority of the Yemeni people have been afflicted over the past years due to the aggression

They focused on the consequences of the continued closure of Sana'a airport and the port of Hodeida, including the death of tens of thousands of patients, in addition to the lack of oil derivatives as a result of the aggression’s piracy against ships and preventing their access to the port of Hodeida which threatens to disrupt the business sector and basic services.

In the meeting, they stressed the importance of strengthening and expanding the positive roles of the United Nations and international organizations operating in Yemen towards the Yemeni people and their urgent humanitarian needs and continuing to alleviate the severe suffering of the Yemeni people.
