Health calls on United Nations to play role to stop aggression
[01/ March/2021]

SANA'A, Mar. 01 (Saba) - The Public Health and Population Ministry has renewed its demand to the United Nations to do its duty and work to stop the aggression and lift the continuous siege on the Yemeni people for six years.

In a statement to Saba on Sunday, spokesman for the Ministry of Health Dr. Najeeb al-Qubati called for pressure on the countries of aggression to stop their crimes against civilians, the most recent of which was the bombing of a citizen's house in al-Rabsa neighborhood in al-Hawk district in Hodeida province.

The aggression's raids on the neighborhood killed five civilians and injured two others from the same family, al-Qubati said.

Al-Qubati pointed out this crime came after the mercenaries targeted a wedding hall in the same district in early January, killing three martyrs and wounding seven.

The aggression’s insistence on killing Yemenis by bombing or preventing the entry of oil ships has begun to affect the health sector by stopping the provision of medical and health services in some vital departments in a number of hospitals and health centers, he said.
