AMRAN, Jan. 24(Saba) - Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Hussein Maqbouli and Amran governor Faisal Juma'an on Saturday inaugurated 187 projects.
The inaugurated projects included educational, health, electricity, water, and sanitation sectors at a cost of YR 10.5 billion, funded by the local authority in the province and supported by a number of donors.
It is worth mentioning that 93 projects were implemented last year in the field of water and sanitation and rural water projects in Amran at a cost of YR 1.5 billion.
The projects also included the rehabilitation of the 7 July School in Najer area in Amran, which was bombed by the aggression.
In the educational field, 22 projects were opened, funded by the public works project, the Social Fund for Development and UNICEF. 33 health projects were opened, funded by the health office in the province and Amran cement factory.
In the field of agriculture and water barriers, Maqbouli and Juma'an inaugurated two projects funded by the local authority in the province.
