SANA'A, Jan. 20 (Saba) - The Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (SCMCHA) and the World Food Programme (WFP) discussed here on Tuesday the possible ways to enhance mutual cooperation.
In the meeting, SCMCHA's Secretary-General Abdul Mohsen Tawoos and WFP resident representative Laurent Bukera discussed the progress of the WFP's underway activities in the country.
Tawoos highlighted the importance of coordination with the SCMCHA and to submit the organization's annual reports and current year plan to the SCMCHA to facilitate the course of humanitarian action and provide the aid to the people who really deserve it.
On his part, Bukera affirmed that the WFP will continue its humanitarian missions in Yemen, affirming the organization's keenness to continue coordination with the SCMCHA to serve the Yemeni people.
