SANA'A, Dec. 16 (Saba) - Yemen and United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) have discussed here UNICEF's interventions and support for the health facilities in the liberated districts of Marib province.
During a meeting held on Tuesday with Sana'a field office director at UNICEF, health office director in Marib Mohammed al-Sha'ab reviewed the health situation in Marib and the difficulties facing health facilities in there.
Al-Sha'ab touched upon the office's plan in the liberated districts, pointing out the importance of increasing the UNICEF's support to health centers and improving the competences of the workers in the health sector.
The UNICEF's official confirmed that UNICEF's readiness to build the health workers' capacities and study the possibility of expanding support.
