Parliament reviews gov't letters, information, education reports

SANA'A, Oct. 24 (Saba) - The parliament listened on Saturday to the government's letters on a memorandum of the Minister of Endowments and Guidance on a draft law establishing the Higher Institute for Guidance.

In its session headed by Speaker Yahya Al-Ra'i, the parliament approved the Minister's memorandum and demanded him to present a bill in a future session.

It also heard from the Minister of State to the government's letter about the memorandum of the Minister of Oil and Minerals regarding the previous recommendations of the parliament contained in the report of the development, oil and mineral resources committee on the continuing crisis of fuel.

The parliament approved the referral of the memorandum to a specialized committee to study it and submit a finding report.

Moreover, the parliament reviewed a supplementary report of a manuscripts draft law presented by the parliamentary culture and tourism committee. The report contains the amended articles that the parliament members had returned to the committee for further discussion.

The parliament postponed the discussion of the report to a future session, in the presence of the competent government side.

Finally, the parliament reviewed a supplementary report of the education committee on the current situation of the technical education and vocational training and the aggression's impacts on the educational process.
