SANA'A, Oct. 21 (Saba) - Minister of Foreign Affairs Hisham Sharaf met here on Wednesday with UNICEF deputy representative in Yemen Sherin Varkey.
During the meeting, the officials reviewed UNICEF's activities and the efforts exerted to support teachers and the continuance of the educational process.
In the meeting, Sharaf indicated that the aggression repercussions of the educational process, stressing that the aggression has destroyed much of the educational infrastructure, including schools, universities and institutes.
He pointed out that the UNICEF's cash incentives provided for teachers are very important, stressing that the government would continue to provide all facilitations for the UN organization to carry on the cash incentive payments to the teachers.
Meanwhile, the UNICEF official affirmed the United Nations' keenness to continue the educational process in Yemen, noting that efforts are being made to continue the cash incentives project.
