TAIZ, Sep. 26 (Saba) - The Human Rights Ministry's office in Taiz province has condemned the crimes of rape and murder against children in the occupied areas of Taiz.
In a statement issued on Friday, the office expressed its grave concern about the high crime rates in the occupied areas of Taiz, which have evolved into raping and killing children, and threatening to murder the victims' relatives if they speak about the crimes.
In particular, the statement strongly condemned the rape of a 6-year-old boy, Mohammed Fawaz, by the culprit Walid Mohammed al-Tabbakh, one of the aggression's mercenaries in al-Jumhori neighborhood in the province.
It called on the international community, the United Nations and humanitarian organizations assume their responsibility to protect the children in the occupied areas.
