Information Minister: the September 21 revolution, the first revolution in history, does not depend on an outsider party

SANAA, Sep. 23 (Saba) - Information Minister Dhaif Allah Al-Shami has said that the September 21 revolution was the first revolution in history that did not rely on an outside party.

The minister added that it was a purely Yemeni popular revolution, in which all classes of the Yemeni people or their components and backgrounds had participated.

"These celebrations are a renewal of the values of freedom, dignity, independence, liberation from decision-making and confronting the forces of hegemony and arrogance," al-Shami explained during a cultural and artistic event organized by the General Administration of Facilities Guard and Protection of Individuals on the occasion of the celebrations for the sixth anniversary of the Revolution on September 21, 2014, and the passage of two thousand days of steadfastness in the face of the aggression.

In this regard, he affirmed that this revolution did not come to exclude any party or political organizations but it was come to meet the needs of the Yemeni people, calling after its victory for the partnership with all parties, organizations of political parties, stressing that this was done during the signing of the peace and partnership agreement.

The Minister of Information pointed out that the September 21 revolution thwarted the plans of the arrogant forces to control Yemen and its political decision, its wealth reviewing the successes achieved by this revolution at different levels, and in the foreground the military path, military industrialization, and missile power, as well as the victories of the army, security and popular committees on various fronts.
