[22/ September/2020]

SANAA, Sep. 22 (Saba) - The revolution's leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, said on Monday that we had endured for 2,000 days and ready to withstand the aggression for many other thousand days.

"The greatest goals of the September 21 Revolution are freedom and independence," the revolutionary leader said in a speech aired on the sixth anniversary of the September 21 Revolution.

He stressed that without freedom and independence, people would live in a state of colonialism, subservience and servitude.

The Americans have set their sights on Yemen before the September 21st  revolution with hostile, colonial and illegal motives, mostly because the strategic location of Yemen and its natural wealth, he said.

Sayyed Abdulmalik indicated that the Americans deliberately increased their interference in Yemen after the events of September 11, in order to push the authority (of the former regime) into a civil war targeting the free people.

He pointed out that the American interventions were dangerous, and the American ambassador was officially middling in all ministries and military, security and political institutions and in the tribal and social communities.

Regarding Saudi Arabia and the UAE, Sayyed al-Houthi said that now things are getting clearer more and more. "Some did not understand that the US-Saudi aggression was a plot to occupy Yemen, and to enable the Americans and Israelis to come under the aggression's cover to control the country.

Why have the Saudis and Emiratis headed for Socotra and Mahrah while there were no battles justifying their presence in there, he wondered,  asserting "this is an occupation."

He said that the Saudi, Emirati and Bahraini regimes represent the security, economic, political and social imbalances in the Arab region.

"We have said since the beginning of the aggression that Saudi Arabia, the UAE and those who are with them are just tools to implement the American and Israeli plans which target the Yemeni People."

In his speech, Sayyed Abdulmalik pointed out that the tendency of the Gulf regimes toward normalizing with the Zionist entity encourages the enemies of Islam appear clearly after it was present in secret.

The leader said the country's former regime was coordinating secretly with the Israeli enemy in preparation for establishing mutual relations, adding the evidences would be revealed in the coming days.

"Zionist officials have arrived in Sana'a and held meetings with leaders of the former regime," he said. "There were agreements and arrangements to boost the relations between the former regime and the enemy entity."

The normalization with the Israeli enemy would destabilize security and stability in the Arab and Islamic countries, he stressed.
