Mass rally in Sanaa to condemn the assassination of Soleimani and Al-Muhandis

SANAA, Jan. 7 (Saba) - Hundreds of thousands of the Yemeni people took the streets in the capital Sanaa ,on Monday afternoon, committing the assassination crime of the Mujahideen leaders, the commander of the Quds Force, Qassem Soleimani, and the deputy head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Committee, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, and their comrades in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad by a US airstrike.

In Saada, on Monday morning also, a mass demonstration holed denouncing the American crime that targeted the commander Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis.

Participants carried slogans of Anti-American policy in the region and pictures of the martyrs Soleimani and Al-Muhandis, chanteing, "God is the greatest .. America is the Great Satan".

They also chanted with many slogans against America such as, “From Saada to Baghdad … We take the line of martyrdom”, and “America is a terrorist … we are the people of freedom.”

Information Minister Daifallah al-Shami confirmed during the march in Saada that “the blood of Martyr Soleimani and al-Muhandis is the blood of the nation, and they are the martyrs of the whole nation.”

He stressed that “the blood of the martyrs Soleimani and al-Muhandis is not Iranian and Iraqi, but blood belonging to the nations and the free people of the world.”

Al-Shami concluded by saying “the blood of Soleimani, al-Mauhandis and all the martyrs will turn into intercontinental missiles and weapons that destroy American battleships and end their presence in the region.”

Protesters in Sanaa issued a fiery statement, stressing the endowment with the freedom of our nation in the battle of dignity, independence and freedom against American and Israeli arrogance and criminality, stressing that the axis of the resistance is the advanced front in confronting the American and Zionist enemy, explained that the martyrs’ blood and their sacrifices will not go waste.

“The Yemeni people, as they confront aggression and siege, are present with all their strength to stand by the free nations in the battle for independence and to continue the project of freedom from the forces of domination and arrogance,” the statements confirmed.

 The rally statement stressed,  offering their condolences to the Iranian an Iraqi people in the martyrdom of the great mujahideen Qasim Soleimani, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and their companions.
