SANAA, Aug. 9 (Saba) - The International Academy of Graduate Studies has awarded an honorary doctorate to Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor in recognition of his scientific and academic contributions as well as the Golden Shield of Excellence for his national and leadership roles and his remarkable activity in the field of human development.
The Prime Minister received the certificate and shield from the President of the Board of Trustees of the Academy, economic expert Professor Abdulaziz al-Tarib in the honoring meeting organized by the Academy on Saturday in the presence of Minister of Planning Abdulaziz al-Kummaim, Governor of Aden Tariq Salam and Chairman of al-Thawrah Hospital in Sanaa Dr. Abdullatif Abu Talib and a number of officials of the International Academy.
The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the International Academy and Professor al-Tarib for granting the honorary doctorate and the shield, considering this initiative to honor all his colleagues in the government and those who work with him in light of these exceptional critical circumstances that the country is going through under the leadership of the Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and Chairman of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat.
The Premier noted the high position of Professor al-Tarib and his scientific, national and social activities, indicating that he favored the national interest and aligning himself with his homeland in the face of the ordeal that the country has been going through since March 2015.
