Human Rights appeals on security council, international community to save humanitarian situation in Yemen
[05/ August/2020]

SANAA, Aug. 5 (Saba) - The Ministry of Human Rights has renewed its appeal to the Security Council, the international community, the Human Rights Council, and all concerned to intervene urgently to save the humanitarian situation in Yemen that is growing worse every day.

The ministry noted in a statement, Saba got a copy of it, the humanitarian disaster resulting from the bombing of nearly 101 bridges and water tunnels by the Aggression coalition and the danger to citizens who take the roads on them, which have become streams of rains.

The statement called on the United Nations, the international community, the Security Council, human rights councils, all relevant international organizations, and human rights activists to work to help Yemen cope with these disasters.

The Ministry of Human Rights' statement has also blamed the countries of the aggression for all the consequences of the torrential rains that today pose a great danger to the lives of people who take sides of the bridges, being the only way after the bridges were bombed and destroyed by the aggression.
