Sanaa first undersecretary visits family whose house is demolished by heavy rain in Hamdan

SANAA, Aug. 5 (Saba) - Sanaa first undersecretary in Sanaa province Hamid Assem visited on Tuesday the family whose home in Wadi Dhahr in Hamdan district in Sabaa was destroyed by heavy rains, killing two women and a child and injuring two women.

 

The first undersecretary stressed the concern to provide support to the affected families, indicating the formation of committees to register the damages in all Sanaa districts.

 

Hamdan district director Abdullah al-Abyad praised the attention of the provincial leadership and its keenness to visit those affected by the floods and rains.

 

Yemen's Red Crescent Society in Sanaa province on Tuesday provided shelter and food materials for the family whose house was destroyed in Wadi Dhahr in the district.

 

Assem appreciated the efforts of the Red Crescent to alleviate the suffering of those affected by the rain, calling on charitable organizations and societies to extend a helping hand to the displaced.

 

The first undersecretary of Sanaa Hamid Assem, director of the health office in the province Dr. Khaled al-Muntasir, and director of Hamdan Abdullah al-Abyad district paid a visit to the injured in the May 22nd Hospital in Dhula'a Hamdan area as a result of the demolition of the house in Wadi Dhahr in the district.

 

Assem handed over a sum of money to the injured provided by the provincial leadership.
